CDS Post Trade Modernization (PTM) Project - December 2024

CDS is re-publishing for comment two (2) External Procedures subject to material changes since October 2024. For each External Procedure, CDS is providing the following documents (in that order):

  1. Revised notice;
  2. Updated Appendix A (details of material changes);
  3. Compared version with the October 2024 version of the External Procedures;
  4. Compared version with the current version of the External Procedures; and
  5. Clean version of the External Procedures

At the outset of PTM, CDS intended to consolidate risk-related provisions found in the External Procedures Participating in CDS Services in one document designated as the "CDS Risk Procedures". In November 2024, CDS decided not to present the CDS Risk Procedures to its Participants, and the Regulators for approval. Instead, CDS recommended updating the Participating in CDS Services document. As a result, for PTM, Participating in CDS Services would remain the single document containing risk management content, as is currently the case today for CDSX.

Please find below a Notice of Withdrawal with respect to the "CDS Risk Procedures" published in April 2021.
