Holders of Record

There are several subscription and data options available for issuers and their agents to identify participant holdings:

• Periodic subscriptions provided on a weekly, monthly or quarterly schedule
• Date range reports for a specific period or specific dates only.

Requests that do not directly originate from the transfer agent or issuer require either a statutory declaration or a letter of authorization from the issuer in order for CDS to release the information. The statutory declaration may be submitted by completing the form National Instrument 54-101 Undertaking. In addition, CDS will advise the issuer in writing that a request has been made. A copy of the request and the statutory declaration is also forwarded to the issuer.
